| The Artemis Accords – a very important event as well! Eight countries – among which Luxembourg is one – have signed these accords, which are related also to the Outer Space Treaty mentioned further below. They regulate norms and principles of behavior for the Artemis lunar exploration program. | On 10 October 1967 – ten years later – the Outer Space Treaty was ratified on the basis of a declaration by the United Nations. This treaty states, in its long title, “the principles governing the activities of states in the exploration and use of outer space” for peaceful purposes.
