ObjectBox is a generic device that only needs power supply and network connectivity. Each box can be programmed to perform specific tasks. More than a decade of device usage and several generations of improved software have already proven ObjectBox as a valuable concept in today's business. ObjectBoxes are used to control huge uplink satellite dishes, interface with measurement equipment, and to remotely control devices or monitor environment. These are only some ideas so far, as device can be programmed to suit any task. On the client side device can provide web interface for status and control, or a totally customized API that customer defines (TCP/IP socket, CORBA, RMI...).
