Messaging service is an integral part of SATMODE application framework. Its main role is to provide generic messaging capabilities thus allowing communication between TV devices (via set-top-boxes) and major Internet communication systems (Instant Messaging, E-mail) or a phone based messaging system (SMS, MMS). This service represents the server part of a client-server messaging architecture deployed on the SATMODE application framework.
