The EPG Portal is part of a SATMODE application, consisting of a client and server parts, which provide access to a number of informational sections and services. This makes an EPG portal a great demonstration service, as it streams the HTML content to TV users, where it is in turn rendered and displayed via SATMODE Browser on user's TV screen. The same principle used for creating EPG portal application can be used wherever interactive TV content needs to be provided to the subscribers, by cable or satellite.
