The Payment module is an integral part of the SATMODE application framework that provides applications with means to process on-line payments. It serves as a gateway between the application and a third party payment system and offers functionality to handle payments using a credit card and/or an electronic wallet. This service provides the user with a GUI to allow the user to manage his/her payment settings and is highly reliable and secure.

In addition to the basic and most important features, the payment module increases utilization by offering additional ways of controlling money flow such as: organizing money in e-wallets and sub wallets, setting types of applications the wallets are intended for (e.g. gambling, messaging), setting permissions for various users or user groups to use wallets, etc...

This service represents the server part of the client-server payment architecture.
