FPGA Engineer (m/f) - Zagreb

We are looking for passionate and talented FPGA Engineer (m/f) to contribute to the development of state-of-the-art equipment to receive satellite data. We are starting a development of a new and disruptive product, making this is a great way to start your career in the space industry. You will be given an important role in our team which includes active steering of the R&D team and helping to shape our product.

Your responsibilities

  • Designing and implementing solutions that match customer requirements
  • Working with and actively contributing to our team
  • Coordinating with project management to steer the development transparently and effectively
  • Travelling abroad and meeting directly with customer representatives
  • Supporting requirements engineering
  • Proposing and justifying design solutions and technology choices
  • Defining and performing integration, verification and validation test procedures
  • Championing development best practices
  • Help junior Engineers on the team to grow their engineering skills

Absolute MUSTS

  • University degree in Computer Science, Space Systems Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related disciplines
  • At least 3 years of experience in FPGA development
  • Ability to develop high-quality solutions
  • Strong motivation to extend knowledge to related disciplines (e.g. satellite operations, satellite engineering, ground software and hardware, radio- and telecommunications)
  • Sound knowledge of English

Advantage will be given to the candidates who have experience with

  • Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
  • Radio Communications
  • Software development in the domain of satellite engineering, especially monitoring and commanding automation
  • Software Defined Radios (SDR)
  • Xilinx chips and tools
  • Being flexible to travel occasionally to meet partners and customers
